'TRANSMISSION (INDIA) ENGINEERS' was founded by Mr. Debangshi Das (Sr. Engineer) in 2003 and was subsequently incorporated with a registered office and own works in Howrah, (W.B.) India. An ISO 9001-2008 company & SSI Unit (Govt. of W.B), NSIC (Govt. of India) and a specialist in providing components and solutions to the overhead transmission segment of the power industry, the firm has its production plant and well equipped in-house Testing Laboratory  in Howrah, India and maintains strong marketing and distribution channels in all 7 states in India and Export (indirect) in 5 Country.

Under ownership of Mr. D. Das, 'TRANSMISSION (INDIA) ENGINEERS' has grown from a one-man company to a fifty employee organization. The company has a clearly defined management structure, consisting of a Proprietor, CEO and Managers who are the key decision-makers for all company activities. TIE 's core competence is its people, its strong domestic marketing and distribution channels combined with the goodwill it has gained in markets worldwide.
